Words With, Jake Gold

When Open Book launched in the autumn of 2007, we produced a video series, Words With, with Matt Austin as our gifted director.

Words With profiles a group of fascinating and immensely talented Canadians, asking their opinion on the public profile of our country's culture and art, with a particular focus on Canadian books.

We love this series and we're going to re-post and revisit the Words With series over the coming months. Last week, we featured Caitlin Cronenberg and now, suitable to post on Juno weekend here in Canada, here is our interview with Jake Gold.

Responsible for managing one of Canada's greatest bands, The Tragically Hip, Jake has produced some of Canada's best musical talent and he continues to support and nuture emerging voices as one of the judges on Canadian Idol.
